Sky Office
Have you been feeling disconnected with your coworkers while working remotely during the pandemic? This project created a powerful remote-working platform, SkyOffice, where people can build their office environment and “work alongside” the colleagues virtually. In this immersive virtual office, the users are surrounded by other people with whom they can interact if needed, just like in a traditional office. One can customize the desk, chat in the hallway, and hold important meetings in just a few clicks. The mission of SkyOffice is to fundamentally improve how people interact and help people feel engaged while teleworking.

 | Kuan-Hsuan (Kevin) Shen is a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech. He led a group of postdocs and PhD students to design a deep neural networks materials recommendation system. Kevin received his PhD degree of Chemical engineering from Ohio State University in 2020. |
 | Yu-Huai (Dax) Chen works for Waymo as a software engineer since 2020. He received the MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020. |
 | Jen-Yu Huang is a co-founder of Lypid, a San Francisco based food-tech startup focusing on alternative proteins. He received the PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020. Jen-Yu’s passion is to leverage his background in both scientific research and entrepreneurial experiences to inspire, innovate and create lasting impact. |
